Sam Malone - Nathan Fillion: One word: Firefly

Coach - Betty White: It’s a change in gender, so you’d have to change the back-story.

Diane - Zooey Deschanel: I think with Zooey, Diane would be better as a holier-than-thou film-school student rather than a fine arts student, but the character would otherwise be mostly the same.

Carla - Stacey Dash (Dee from Clueless): She’s hotter and blacker than Rhea Perlman, but has just as much attitude.

Norm - John C. Reilly: He was great as Dewey Cox, but I think he would be better as Norm.

Cliff - Tim Meadows: I think Tim Meadows would be awesome as Cliff.

(** Editors Note: I wish the Oscars did Best White Actor or Actress, and Best Non-White Actor and Actress - 1. Actors and Actresses do the exact same thing, so there is no valid reason of separating the two; and 2. There is no minority nominated in any acting category [except arguably Javier Bardem - but he’s from Spain]…maybe the hope of receiving an Oscar nomination and win would be a reason that a minority would actually be cast in a quality movie. But I regress.)

My movie idea

My movie idea: It’s just like the Black Swan. Except instead of ballet, it is figure skating. And instead of Swan Lake, it’s Disney on Ice. And instead of White Swan/Black Swan, it’s Grover/Cookie Monster. The figure skater, while a perfect grover, is anorexic. Can he find the hunger to play the Cookie Monster???
